- 1 Bewertung
On this excursion to Aguas Blancas Waterfall, we will merge cultural insights with the beauty of nature as we navigate the stunning landscapes and discover magnificent waterfalls.
Trip Overview
We will gather at Central Park in Constanza at the pre-scheduled time, embarking on a bus journey that takes approximately 45 minutes towards the southeast. This route will lead us through the mountainous regions adorned with lush vegetation in the Central Mountain Range of the Dominican Republic.
Upon arrival, we will commence a 45-minute hike along trails that feature moderate inclines. As we walk, we will encounter layers of sedimentary rock, revealing the intricate geological past of the Central Mountain Range. The melodious calls of the palmchat, the national bird, will accompany us, and with some luck, we might also see woodpeckers and small anole lizards.
In no time, we will arrive at the mesmerizing Aguas Blancas Waterfall, which cascades over 80 meters (262 ft) into a stunning natural amphitheater of rocky formations. Here, you will have an hour to relish the breathtaking views, capture photographs, and if desired, take a refreshing dip in its crystal-clear waters.
Following our time at the waterfall, we will retrace our steps and stop by a local restaurant. Here, we will savor a traditional Dominican meal crafted from fresh, seasonal produce. After enjoying this one-hour break, we will head back to Constanza.
We will conclude our adventure at the original meeting point, having spent a total of 4 to 5 hours together.
