Belo Horizonte Tour

At the indicated time, we will pick you up at your hotel in Belo Horizonte and start touring the capital of Minas Gerais. First, we will head to Lagoa da Pampulha, featuring designs by Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer, including the Casa do Baile and the Museum of Modern Art. We will also see the exterior of Mineirão football stadium and Mineirinho gymnasium.

Next, we will visit Praça da Liberdade, where you will see the seat of the Government of Minas Gerais and the Mineralogy Museum. After exploring this area, we will cross Savassi Square to reach Governor Israel Pinheiro Square, commonly known as Pope's Square, where John Paul II officiated a mass in 1980.

On our return to central Belo Horizonte, we will pass along Avenida Afonso Pena, noting significant buildings such as City Hall, the Palace of the Arts, and the Conservatory of Music. The tour will conclude at the Central Market of Belo Horizonte at 12:30 pm. You can explore the market further or we can return you to your hotel, arriving around 1 pm.
