Description

We will collect you from your hotel in Belo Horizonte at the scheduled time to head towards the Rei do Mato Cave in Sete Lagoas.

Rei do Mato spans 998 meters (3274 ft.) and is among the largest caves in Minas Gerais. We will explore 220 meters (721 ft.), showcasing stalactites and stalagmites.

Next, we will proceed to the Maquiné Cave in Codisburgo, acknowledged as the cradle of palaeontology in Brazil. This cave features 7 notable galleries, ideal for photography.

You will have an hour of free time for lunch before heading to the Guimarães Rosa Museum-House in Codisburgo, the former residence of João Guimarães Rosa. Inside, you will find an exhibition of over 700 pieces related to his life and works.

Finally, we will return to Belo Horizonte, concluding this 10-hour adventure.
