Sanctuary of Caraça Excursion

At the designated hour, we will meet you at your hotel in Belo Horizonte and set off towards the renowned Sanctuary of Caraça, heading south.

Our first stop will be Caraça Park, where we will embark on a scenic 2 km trek. This walk will immerse us in the stunning views of Cachoeira Cascatinha, a remarkable natural setting situated within the geological complex of Cânions de Capitólio, showcasing a collection of enchanting waterfalls.

After taking in the breathtaking landscapes, we will proceed to a nearby restaurant for a leisurely hour to enjoy your lunch. Once refreshed, our journey will continue to the cultural hub of the Sanctuary of Caraça.

You will have approximately two hours to explore many buildings and monuments across the complex. This significant sacred site, esteemed in Minas Gerais, features a church, a library, multiple gardens, and catacombs that house the remains of the founder of the Colégio do Caraça.

Finally, we will conclude our visit as we return to Belo Horizonte, with an expected arrival at your hotel around 11 hours after our initial pickup.
