Activity Overview

We'll meet at your hotel in Copán Ruinas at 8 am to kickstart a remarkable journey that promises enjoyment for everyone, young and old alike!

Our first destination is the Copán Archaeological Park, where you will uncover the rich history of this area, previously the capital of a significant Mayan kingdom. Here, remnants of this ancient civilization abound, although a mere fraction of the mysteries in these valleys has yet to be uncovered!

After approximately four hours of delving into Mayan cultural treasures, we will hop back on the minibus and head towards Macaw Mountain. This incredible Bird Park not only shelters its avian inhabitants from illegal hunting but also facilitates their breeding and rehabilitation - here, you'll encounter a dazzling variety of birds in all colors and sizes.

While at the Macaw Bird Park, you'll also have the chance to interact with and feed the birds—a truly memorable experience! We’ll then conclude our adventure by escorting you back to your hotel in Copán Ruinas by 3:30 pm.
