Valle del Encanto Tour

On this tour of the Valle del Encanto, we'll depart from La Serena to visit a historically significant area with traces of human life dating back to 2000 BC.

Description

At the specified time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in La Serena and begin our journey along the Costa de los Piratas towards the Valle del Encanto.

On the way, you may choose to stop at the Limari Archaeological Museum to view archaeological pieces from the valley, representing 5 pre-Hispanic cultures, or continue directly to the Valle del Encanto.

Upon arrival at the Valle del Encanto, recognized as an archaeological site since the 1970s, we will discuss the symbolism behind the engravings on the stones, which are over 4,000 years old.

During the walk, you'll encounter small stones with perforations, showcasing an important example of rock art in Chile and standing as some of the largest monuments of this kind in the country.

After exploring the archaeological site, we'll take a break for lunch at a typical Chilean restaurant. The tour will conclude with our return to La Serena, finishing this 7-hour trip at your hotel.
