Discover the history of the Jewish community on this tour of the Jewish quarter of Cordoba.

Tour Details

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the meeting point to begin our tour of the Jewish quarter of Cordoba. This tour will explore the Jewish population's history from Roman times, noting that the walled perimeter of the city was built where the Jewish quarter is today. With the arrival of Muslims, the Jewish population gained prominence, occupying the area until their expulsion during the reign of the Catholic Monarchs.

During the tour, we will visit Plaza de Maimonides, learning about its historical names such as Plaza de los Armentas and Plaza del Arcediano. We will also see the Bullfighting Museum located in this plaza. The tour includes walking through winding and narrow streets, some dead ends reflecting the medieval city's development, as well as visiting sites like the municipal souk and the market.

After an hour of exploration, we will return to the starting point.
