Modern Cordoba Tour

We'll meet at a time of your choosing at your hotel in the centre of Cordoba. From there, we'll walk to the Vélez Sarsfield square to see the Renaissance facade of the Archbishop's Palace. Next to its main entrance, we'll see the Intelligent Building, notable for its glass and steel architecture, contrasting with the archbishop's seat.

We'll continue along Avenida Hipólito Yrigoyen to view the Anthropology Museum and the modern cultural centre Paseo del Buen Pastor, opened in 2007. In this complex, you can take a photo in front of the famous dancing water fountain.

Next to the cultural centre, we'll see the façade of the Sagrado Corazón church, a notable neo-Gothic monument. The tour will proceed to the Palacio Ferreyra, where we'll visit the Museo Superior de Bellas Artes "Evita". The museum displays a beautiful French neoclassical style interior.

The "Evita" museum is located in the Plaza de España, where we'll also discuss the façade of the Provincial Museum of Fine Arts "Emilio Caraffa" and compare its exterior architecture with that of the "Evita" museum.

After three hours, we'll end at the Coniferal viewpoint, where we can enjoy views of the Eiffel wheel, attributed by some theories to the same workshop that built the Eiffel Tower.

We'll start the walking tour from your hotel in the city centre. If you are in a more remote area, go directly to the Vélez Sarsfield square. The guide will meet you at the central monument at the crossroads of Hipólito Yrigoyen and Vélez Sarsfield avenues at the indicated time.
