Ring of Kerry Tour

Meeting at 9 am at St. Patrick's Quay, we will depart from Cork to explore the Ring of Kerry, a circular tourist route showcasing spectacular scenery.

Heading west, we will visit Kerry Bog Village in Glenbeigh, an open-air museum that reflects the rural lifestyle of the area. Here, we will see thatched cottages, traditional restaurants, and country houses.

Continuing on the route, we will admire the Skellig Islands, notable filming locations for the recent Star Wars movies.

As we follow the Ring of Kerry, we will pass the villages of Waterville and Coomakista. We will learn interesting facts, such as Waterville being a favorite destination of Charlie Chaplin. In Sneem, you will find charmingly colorful houses.

Next, we will take a one-hour lunch break at a local restaurant, recommended to try the fish. After lunch, we will continue through the rolling hills of Kerry County, seeing landmarks like Moll's Gap and MacGillycuddy's Reeks.

We will then explore Killarney National Park, observing Lough Leane, the largest lake in the park, before arriving in Killarney town. You will have free time to shop or enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride.

Finally, we will return to the meeting point, arriving at approximately 6 pm.
