Talampaya National Park Hiking Tour

On this hiking adventure through Talampaya National Park, you'll explore the Lost City and/or the Rainbow Canyon.

Description

During booking, you can choose from the following hiking routes in Talampaya National Park. Each hike includes transportation from the meeting point and a Spanish-speaking guide, starting from Águila Base.

All routes are moderately difficult, with varying durations:

Lost City (3 hours)

We'll leave the meeting point to head toward the Lost City of Talampaya. There, we will embark on a 1 hour 45 minute hike, witnessing remarkable geological formations in the park, characteristic of the unique red rock formations of the La Rioja province in northwestern Argentina.

Rainbow Canyon (4 hours)

After pickup, we'll go to one of Talampaya National Park's striking gorges. At the trailhead, we'll start a 1 hour and 15 minute hike to the Rainbow Canyon, known for its richly colored rock formations that reveal a variety of natural factors throughout the walk.

Lost City and Rainbow Canyon (4.5 hours)

This combo tour lasts 4.5 hours, allowing exploration of both itineraries. The hike will last 1 hour and 45 minutes, beginning with a visit to the Rainbow Canyon followed by the Lost City of Talampaya.
