Talampaya National Park Hiking Tour

On this hiking adventure through Talampaya National Park, you'll explore the Lost City and/or the Rainbow Canyon, known for their landscapes.

Description

During the booking process, you can choose from the following hiking routes in Talampaya National Park. Each hike includes transportation from the meeting point and a Spanish-speaking guide, starting from Águila Base.

All three routes have moderate difficulty with varying durations:

Lost City (3 hours)

From the meeting point, we'll head towards the Lost City of Talampaya. Upon arrival, we'll leave our vehicle and begin a 1 hour 45 minute hike, where you'll see some significant geological formations in Talampaya National Park, noted for its red rock formations in the province of La Rioja.

Rainbow Canyon (4 hours)

After your pickup, we'll travel to one of Talampaya National Park's notable gorges. We'll park at the trailhead and start a 1 hour and 15 minute hike to the Rainbow Canyon, known for its rich array of colors in the rock formations.

Lost City and Rainbow Canyon (4.5 hours)

This combo tour lasts 4.5 hours and covers the highlights of the previous itineraries. The hike through Talampaya will take 1 hour and 45 minutes, starting with the Rainbow Canyon and then moving on to the geological features of the Lost City of Talampaya.
