Discover the impressive Alerce Costero National Park on this day trip from Valdivia, where you can admire the majesty of the thousand-year-old alerce trees!
Description
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Valdivia to start this excursion to the Alerce Costero National Park. We'll begin by boarding a boat to the town of Corral.
During the 30-minute trip, we'll discuss the flora and fauna of Alerce Costero. The main focus will be the alerce, a thousand-year-old tree that we'll observe closely on the Renovales de Alerce trail. It's known as one of the longest-living trees in the world.
Our tour includes walking along 3 trails: 2 within the national park and a third one at Chaihuín beach. On this beach trail, we'll have a picnic with typical products, biscuits, and nuts, while enjoying views of the Pacific.
After the break, we'll return to the boat to head back to Corral. From there, we'll drive you back to your hotel in Valdivia. The total duration of the day trip is between 9 and 11 hours.
