Hiking in Oncol Park

On this hiking route in Oncol Park, we'll explore the Valdiviana jungle in all its splendour. It's one of the great forestry reserves in Los Ríos.

Oncol Park Hiking

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Valdivia and head to Oncol Park: an impressive forestry reserve in the Valdivian jungle.

Once there, we'll begin our hiking route to the top of the peak, which is more than 700 metres (2,295 feet) high. From the summit, you'll enjoy views of the Los Ríos region.

During the hike, you can spot various trees such as lumas, chinaberry, cinnamon, and podocarp, across 2800 hectares.

After descending, we'll return to Valdivia, making a brief stop at Pilolcura Beach to observe local marine birds.

We will conclude our activity approximately 7 hours after it begins.
