On this hiking route in Oncol Park, we'll explore the Valdiviana jungle. It is one of the great forestry reserves in Los Ríos.
Oncol Park Hiking
At the scheduled time, we will pick you up from your hotel in Valdivia and travel to Oncol Park, noted for its extraordinary landscapes in the Valdivian jungle.
Upon arrival, we will begin our hiking route leading to the top of the peak, which stands at more than 700 metres (2,295 feet). From the summit, you will have panoramic views of the Los Ríos region.
During the hike, you will encounter various trees, including lumas, chinaberry, cinnamon, and podocarp. These species are spread across 2800 hectares.
After completing the hike, we will return to Valdivia, making a brief stop at Pilolcura Beach to observe local marine birds.
We will conclude the tour approximately 7 hours after it commences.
