Hiking in Oncol Park

On this hiking route in Oncol Park, we'll explore the Valdiviana jungle, one of the great forestry reserves in Los Ríos.

Oncol Park Hiking

At the specified time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Valdivia and head to Oncol Park, a forestry reserve known for its landscapes in the Valdivian jungle.

Upon arrival, we will begin our hiking route to the top of the peak, which is more than 700 metres (2,295 feet) high. From the peak, you will have views of the Los Ríos region.

Along the way, you may observe various types of trees, including lumas, chinaberry, cinnamon, and podocarp, spread across 2800 hectares.

After descending, we will return to Valdivia with a brief stop at Pilolcura Beach to view local marine birds.

We will conclude our tour at the starting point approximately 7 hours after the activity begins.
