Cozumel Walking Tour
We'll meet at the Cozumel Military Air Base at the specified time. Accompanied by an expert guide in this Mexican city's history, we'll visit the most iconic places in Cozumel, Mexico's third biggest island.
Cozumel is renowned for its impressive diving spots. While we won't be immersing ourselves in the Caribbean sea, we will admire the notable locations that influenced the local population's development, starting at the Plaza de las Dos Culturas and the Monumento al Mestizaje, where the Spanish first arrived.
The guide will provide insights into the city's history and indigenous culture on the Yucatán peninsula. We will explore the history of tequila and its significance for the island, with an opportunity to sample this traditional drink.
Next, we’ll visit the Malecón de Cozumel pier to see various sculptures and views. One highlight is the Monumento de Buzo, showcasing the island’s underwater life.
Our tour will also take us to the Plaza Central to view the City Hall and the Cozumel Clocktower. The experience concludes with an authentic Mexican lunch at La Choza restaurant.
