Snorkelling in a Turtle Sanctuary

On this snorkelling in a turtle sanctuary activity in Cozumel, we will explore marine life in one of the biggest islands in the Mexican Caribbean.

Description

At the scheduled time, we will meet at the flagpole of the Birds Monument, where the snorkelling activity will commence at a turtle sanctuary in Cozumel. After receiving our snorkelling equipment, we will head to the Casa Blanca Reef, which is the deepest area where we may encounter large species such as spotted eagle rays or barracudas.

The second stop will be the turtle sanctuary, allowing exploration of the unique reef system with its spectacular coral formations and marine turtles.

Next, we will visit El Cielo, accessible only by boat, known for its turquoise waters and starfish. This location is considered one of the best for snorkelling in Cozumel.

We will also stop at El Cielito, featuring impressive waters and a long sandy beach. This will be a suitable place to anchor, relax, and enjoy a Mexican snack including guacamole and totopos.

The activity will conclude 4 hours after the start at the initial meeting point.

Restrictions

Participation is not permitted for those who cannot swim, pregnant women, elderly individuals with mobility issues, and children under 5 years old unless accompanied by an adult.
