Arena México Lucha Libre Show + Tequila and Mezcal Museum

Learn the secrets of the most traditional and spectacular of Mexico's sports with an authentic Mexican wrestling show in Arena Mexico, the mecca of wrestling. We'll also visit a Tequila and Mezcal Museum.

Activity Details

After meeting at the Tequila and Mezcal Museum at the scheduled time, we'll board an open-top bus for a tour of central Mexico City.

First, we'll stop at Garibaldi Square for a brief tour of the Tequila and Mezcal Museum, where we will enjoy a tasting of the signature product. Before leaving, we will sip on 3 of the best tequilas and mezcals in Mexico accompanied by a live mariachi band.

The bus tour will end at Arena Mexico for the main event. Mexican wrestling features spectacular acrobatics, dangerous jumps outside the ring, and a blend of sport and drama, being as popular as football in Mexico. Wrestlers use masks to conceal their identities, creating characters that fans idolize.

You will attend a live Mexican wrestling show consisting of 2 or 3 rounds, learning about the show via your audio guide. A souvenir gift will be provided at the stadium.

The Lucha Libre Wrestling Show will last approximately 3 hours. The experience concludes at the Tequila & Mezcal Museum.

Built in 1956 with a capacity of 14,000, Arena Mexico is the most important lucha libre stadium globally and is managed by the Mexican Wrestling Company, organizing shows on Tuesdays and Fridays year-round.
