Discover one of the most visited religious destinations in the world on this day trip to the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, built in honor of Latin America's patron saint.

Day Trip Details

At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel and begin the road trip to the north of Mexico City to visit the Villa de Guadalupe, which is visited by 20 million pilgrims every year in honor of the Virgin of Guadalupe.

At the foot of the Cerro del Tepeyac hill, we'll visit the current Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the second most visited Catholic monument worldwide, after St. Paul's Basilica in Rome. This site was chosen for the World Cup offering by the Royal Spanish Football Federation in 2010.

We'll stop at the former basilica, now an expiatory church to Cristo Rey, and then climb the Cerro del Tepeyac via a steep staircase to the Capilla del Cerrito, where the Virgin of Guadalupe first appeared.

Next, we arrive at the Capilla del Pocito (Chapel of the Little Well), recognized for its Baroque art and believed healing properties.

Finally, we'll return to your hotel in Mexico City and conclude our tour after 4 hours.
