Discover one of the most visited religious destinations in the world on this day trip to the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, built in honor of Latin America's patron saint.

Day Trip Details

At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel and begin the road trip to the north of Mexico City to visit the Villa de Guadalupe, visited by 20 million pilgrims every year in honor of the Virgin of Guadalupe.

At the foot of the Cerro del Tepeyac hill, we'll visit the current Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the second most visited Catholic monument worldwide. This was the place to present the World Cup won in 2010 by the Royal Spanish Football Federation as an offering to the Virgin of Guadalupe.

We'll stop at the former basilica, now an expiatory church to Cristo Rey. Next, we'll climb the Cerro del Tepeyac on a steep staircase to reach the Capilla del Cerrito, built at the site where the Virgin of Guadalupe first appeared.

Continuing our tour, we'll arrive at the Capilla del Pocito (Chapel of the Little Well), where the chapel's well was believed to have healing properties.

Finally, we'll return to your hotel in Mexico City, concluding the tour 4 hours later.
