Freixenet Winery & Wine Tasting + Cheese tasting in Cava Bocanegra

Embark on an excursion to Bernal, exploring one of Mexico's Magical Towns on a comprehensive tour with a wine tasting at the renowned Freixenet winery.

Description

At the scheduled time, we will pick you up from the meeting point you selected during booking. From there, we’ll embark on our journey from Mexico City to the state of Querétaro.

First up, we'll visit Tequisquiapan, one of Mexico's charming "Pueblos Mágicos." You'll have about an hour and a half of free time to wander its colorful streets and explore the local handicraft shops.

Next, we'll head to the Bocanegra Cheese Cellar, where we'll receive a detailed explanation of the cheese aging process over the course of an hour and a half. Following the informative session, we'll get to enjoy a tasting of five cheeses paired with a glass of wine.

The journey will then take us to the Freixenet vineyards, where we'll tour the facilities and learn about the winemaking process unique to this region. We'll also visit their cellar, which, at 25 meters (82 feet) deep, is the deepest in Latin America!

After the tour, which lasts about an hour and a half, we'll enjoy a glass of sparkling wine—the perfect way to cap off the visit.

Then, we'll head back to the starting point, where we'll arrive 15 hours later.
