The market, inaugurated in the 50s, features kiosks with flowers, nuts, vegetables, and sweet treats, along with cooking utensils and souvenirs available for purchase.
Participants will enjoy a tasting of exotic fruits such as carambola, mamey, or chicozapote paired with cheese and mole. A tour guide will explain the preparation and consumption of these delicacies, providing a cultural immersion experience.
The tour will also cover the properties of healing plants and local alternative medicine practices, including the meanings of various flowers, some of which are edible.
