Mexico City Mural Tour
At the indicated time, the tour of Mexico City's murals will commence at the Plaza de Santo Domingo, located in front of the Domingo Santo Hotel, which is two streets away from the Plaza de la Constitución.
The tour will proceed to the Secretariat of Public Education building to admire Diego Rivera's famous murals, covering over 3,200 square feet (300 square metres). Discussions will focus on Mexican history, culture, and traditions depicted in the artwork.
Next, participants will visit the museum of the Antiguo Colegio de San Ildefonso, featuring works by José Clemente Orozco, Jean Charlot, and Diego Rivera.
The tour continues at the Palace of Fine Arts museum, where attendees will view important murals such as "Man Controller of the Universe" by Diego Rivera and "Katharsis" by José Clemente Orozco. Additionally, other significant murals by national artists including David Alfaro Siqueiros, González Camarena, Roberto Montenegro, and Rufino Tamayo will be highlighted.
The tour concludes after 3.5 hours at the Alameda Central.
