At 7:45 am we'll meet outside the Sheraton Maria Isabel Hotel to board a minibus for a two-hour journey to Mineral del Chico. During the trip, we'll pass through Chico National Park, one of Mexico's oldest parks, known for its diverse range of trees from America and Europe.

Upon arrival, a guided tour of the town will commence. We will walk through the streets and admire monuments such as the neoclassical Iglesia de la Purísima Concepción.

We will also see the Casa de las Brujas and the Montaña de las Monjas, which translate to the House of the Witches and the Mountain of the Nuns, respectively. Discover the stories behind these names!

At the mine, we'll venture over a kilometer inside the mountain to learn about the daily lives of the miners working there.

After the mine visit, we will return to the village for its gastronomic market to enjoy a lunch. A notable option includes the 30-centimeter quesadillas.

We will then return on the minibus to Mexico City, arriving around 6 pm.
