At 7:45 am, we'll meet outside the Sheraton Maria Isabel Hotel to board a minibus for a two-hour journey to Mineral del Chico. We will pass through Chico National Park, featuring a variety of trees from America and Europe.

Upon arrival, a guided tour of the mining town will commence. As we walk through the streets, we will admire monuments such as the neoclassical Iglesia de la Purísima Concepción.

On our way to one of the mines, we will see Casa de las Brujas and Montaña de las Monjas. The tour will reveal the origins of these names.

We will venture over a kilometre inside the mine to learn about the daily lives of the miners.

After the mine visit, we will return to the village to explore its gastronomic market and enjoy lunch. A recommended option is the 30-centimetre quesadillas.

At the end of the trip, we will board the minibus for our return to Mexico City, arriving around 6 pm.
