Puebla and Cholula Day Trip Itinerary
After picking you up at your hotel, we will travel east of Mexico City, crossing the mountains via motorway with views of the Iztaccíhuatl and Popocatépetl volcanoes.
The first stop is Cholula, the oldest continuously inhabited city in America. We will visit the archaeological area featuring the Cholula Great Pyramid (Tlachihualtépetl), the largest pyramid globally, with the church of Our Lady of Remedies situated at its peak.
Next, we will arrive in Puebla, known as "The City of Angels." You will have free time to eat and experience local cuisine, including mole poblano, a culinary specialty of the region.
After lunch, we will tour the historic center of Puebla, which showcases colonial architecture designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The tour includes visits to Plaza de las Armas, the Cathedral, and Santo Domingo Church.
Before returning to Mexico City, we will stop at an artisanal market to find fine ceramic pieces known as Talavera pottery.
Hotel pickup
This tour includes pickup from hotels located in the historic center, Polanco, and Zona Rosa. If your hotel is outside these areas, we will meet you at the Hotel Emporio Reforma.
Requirements in Mexico City
On the day of your tour, you must present your Multiple Migration Form (FMM) or a photo of it. Without this document, you will not be able to return to Mexico City at the end of the tour.
