Puebla and Cholula Day Trip Itinerary
Having picked you up at your hotel, we'll proceed east of Mexico City, crossing the mountains by motorway, offering views of Iztaccíhuatl and Popocatépetl volcanoes.
Our first stop will be Cholula, the oldest continuously inhabited city in America. We'll visit the archaeological site, home to the Cholula Great Pyramid (Tlachihualtépetl), the largest pyramid in the world, topped by the church of Our Lady of Remedies.
The tour will then continue to Puebla, known as "The City of Angels." In Puebla, you will have free time to eat and sample the local cuisine, including mole poblano, a regional specialty.
After lunch, we'll explore the historic center of Puebla, noted for its colonial architectural monuments, recognized as World Heritage by UNESCO. The tour visits significant sites such as the Plaza de las Armas, the Cathedral, and Santo Domingo Church.
Before returning to Mexico City, we'll stop at an artisanal market, where you can purchase Talavera pottery.
Hotel pickup
This tour includes pickup from hotels in Mexico City's historic center, Polanco, and Zona Rosa. If your hotel is outside these areas, we will meet at the Hotel Emporio Reforma.
Requirements in Mexico City
On the day of your tour, you must have your Multiple Migration Form (FMM) or a photo of it. Without this document, you cannot return to Mexico City at the tour's conclusion.
