On this day trip we'll explore the colonial city of Taxco and its silver mines, as well as visit Cuernavaca, known for its beautiful climate and one of the oldest cathedrals in America.
Taxco and Cuernavaca Day Trip Itinerary
After a scheduled meeting, we will head south to Cuernavaca. We will start the tour by visiting the historic center, featuring the cathedral founded by Franciscan monks, and the Cortés palace, which houses the Cauhnáhuac Museum.
The tour proceeds to Taxco, a colonial city characterized by its winding cobbled streets and picturesque squares. We will explore the historic center and visit the significant religious site, the Santa Prisca, one of Mexico's largest churches.
After the tour, there will be 1 hour of free time for lunch and exploration in the city center. Taxco is known as the world's silver capital, where visitors can purchase silver products at reasonable prices.

This tour includes pickup from hotels located in the following tourist areas of Mexico City: the historic center, Polanco, and Zona Rosa. For hotels outside these areas, we will meet at the Hotel Emporio Reforma.
