Teotihuacán, Guadalupe Basílica & Tlatelolco Day Trip
After meeting at your selected point in Mexico City, we'll begin our 8.5-hour tour of key sights in the capital.
Our first stop will be Tlatelolco, the archaeological site that was part of the Aztec empire. We'll visit the Plaza de Tres Culturas, where prehispanic and colonial influences combine with modern architecture, featuring Aztec pyramids, the viceroy's convent, and contemporary buildings.
Next, we will head to Villa Guadalupe, a significant pilgrimage site. The visit includes the current Guadalupe Basilica, honoring the patron saint of Latin America, and the old basilica. This segment will last approximately 1.5 hours.
Our tour continues to Teotihuacán, Mexico’s most visited archaeological site. We will stop for lunch at a local restaurant before exploring the Road of the Dead, the Quetzalpápalotl Palace, and Quetzalcoatl Temple. There will be free time for personal exploration of this sacred site.
The tour concludes back in Mexico City.
