Mexico City: Teotihuacán Hot Air Balloon Ride

We'll meet at the selected meeting point in Mexico City, then board a minibus to the take-off point.

Upon arrival, watch how the balloon fills with air while enjoying a coffee or a snack. We will then embark on our hot air balloon journey.

We will ascend above the Teotihuacán Valley to enjoy views of the Sun Pyramid, the Quetzalpápalotl Palace, the Road of the Dead, the Pyramid of the Moon, and the Quetzalcoatl Temple. The flight duration will be between 30 minutes and 1 hour, depending on weather. After landing, we will toast with sparkling wine and enjoy a buffet breakfast at the La Higuera restaurant. Participants will receive a certificate acknowledging them as certified hot-air ballooners.

Teotihuacán Ruins Visit + Artisan Workshop

After the flight, there will be around 2 hours to explore the Teotihuacán ruins. With a guided tour, you will learn about the site’s history. Additionally, you will attend an artisan workshop to discover traditions and uses of obsidian, agave, mead fermentation, and silver crafting, concluding with a tasting of pulque, tequila, cactus liqueur, and mezcal.

We will return by minibus to Mexico City, concluding this 8-hour activity.

Exceeding this limit incurs a charge of 25 USD per extra kg, payable at the take-off point.Refunds for cancelled flights due to adverse weather conditions will be minus 420 MXN per passenger for ground transportation.Balloons are not overloaded for comfortable and safe travel.
