Mexico City: Teotihuacán Hot Air Balloon Ride

We will meet at the scheduled time at the chosen meeting point in Mexico City, and then take a minibus to the take-off point. At arrival, enjoy a coffee or a snack while the balloon fills with air before embarking on the flight.

The flight lasts between 30 minutes and 1 hour depending on weather conditions, offering views of the Sun Pyramid, Quetzalpápalotl Palace, the Road of the Dead, Pyramid of the Moon, and Quetzalcoatl Temple. Following the flight, we will toast with sparkling wine and enjoy a buffet breakfast at La Higuera restaurant. All participants receive a certificate as certified hot-air ballooners.

Teotihuacán Ruins Visit + Artisan Workshop

You will have around 2 hours to visit the Teotihuacán ruins on foot. For those with the guided tour, an expert on Mexican culture will accompany you. After the ruins, you will attend an artisan workshop to learn about obsidian, agave plant uses, mead fermentation, and silver-making. The day concludes with a tasting of pulque, tequila, cactus liqueur, and mezcal.

The activity lasts approximately 8 hours, concluding with a return to the starting point in Mexico City.
