In this tour of Cuenca, we'll visit a viewpoint, a museum, two craft workshops, and the historic centre of the city, recognized as a World Heritage Site.

Description

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel to begin this complete tour of Cuenca. Our first stop will be the Turi viewpoint for scenic views of Cuenca and a visit to the Eduardo Vega Gallery, a well-known ceramics workshop.

We'll then stroll along the Barranco, next to the River Tomebamba, to see the hanging houses and the Broken Bridge. Following this, we will visit the Pumapungo Museum, the city's most significant museum, focusing on various cultural exhibits.

The next stop will be a Panama hat factory, where you'll learn about the creation of toquilla straw hats. Options vary from affordable designs to more elaborate ones.

Afterwards, we'll head to the historic centre of Cuenca for a traditional Ecuadorian lunch. The tour includes a visit to the San Francisco market and the Plaza de las Flores, recognized as a leading open-air flower market.

We'll proceed to Abdon Calderon Park to view the Old Cathedral alongside the New Cathedral, one of the largest churches in Latin America.

The tour concludes, returning you to your accommodation 7 to 8 hours later.
