Description

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Cuenca at the scheduled time for this day trip. Prepare to uncover Inca ruins and explore villages in Ecuador. Our journey through the Ecuadorian highlands will begin with stunning views. After about an hour and 15 minutes, we'll arrive at Ingapirca, Ecuador's most significant Inca archaeological site. Here, we will take a guided tour of the 16th-century citadel and see the Temple of the Sun.

We'll stop for lunch at a local restaurant before heading to Gualaceo and Chordeleg, known for their artisanal works. In Chordeleg, we will visit an artisan workshop specializing in Ecuador's finest filigree, allowing time for shopping. Our final stop is in Gualaceo, where we will see the weaving of shawls and ponchos on antique looms using dyes from regional plants.

After 9 hours of culture and adventure, we will return you to your hotel in Cuenca.
