Hiking in the Cajas National Park
At 9 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Cuenca and travel by minibus to the town of Sayausí, the entrance to Cajas National Park.
Upon arrival, we will start a hiking route through the park, specifically in the Llaviucu Valley, a notable natural area near Cuenca. We will walk along a millenary Inca trail while learning about the glacial origins of the region.
During the hike, we will visit various locations within the national park, including the Llaviucu lagoon, an abandoned German brewery, and meadows where wild horses and alpacas graze.
Following a morning of exploration, you will return to your hotel at 2 pm.
