Tour of Willemstad + Liqueur Tasting

On this walking tour of Willemstad, we'll take you to see the best Curaçao's capital has to offer. We'll also do a tasting of the most famous liqueur from the island!

Tour Details

We'll meet at the designated time at our starting point close to Willemstad's cruise port, from where we'll make our way to the Scharloo district. Here, we'll see the restored mansions in this neighbourhood declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

In this area of Curçao's capital, we'll admire the Wedding Cake House for its unique architecture. We'll then continue to Landhuis Chobolobo, an old country house that is now home to a distillery of the national liqueur Blue Curaçao. Here, we'll do a tasting of this drink while learning about the history of the island's famous liqueur.

The tour will continue along Mambo Boulevard, offering views of Table Mountain, which is over 3000 metres (9842 feet) tall. On this seafront promenade, we'll see Mambo Beach and its colourful houses in a Caribbean colonial style.

We will then search for the iconic Queen Juliana Bridge, named after a former Dutch queen. From here, we'll admire the views from Santa Ana Bay. We will conclude our tour after a total of 2.5 hours, saying our goodbyes at our original starting point.
