Tour of Willemstad + Liqueur Tasting

On this walking tour of Willemstad, we'll take you to see the best Curaçao's capital has to offer and enjoy a tasting of the famous liqueur from the island.

Tour Details

We'll meet at the designated time at our starting point near Willemstad's cruise port. Our first stop will be the Scharloo district, where we will view the restored mansions of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

In this area, we'll admire the Wedding Cake House due to its unique architecture. Following this, we'll visit Landhuis Chobolobo, an old country house and the home of the distillery of the national liqueur Blue Curaçao. We will conduct a tasting of this refreshing drink and learn about the history of the liqueur.

The tour will continue along Mambo Boulevard, offering views of Table Mountain, which rises over 3000 metres (9842 feet) tall. On this seafront promenade, we will encounter Mambo Beach and its colourful houses in Caribbean colonial style.

Next, we will locate the Queen Juliana Bridge, named after a former Dutch queen, and enjoy the views from Santa Ana Bay, concluding our tour.

After a total of 2.5 hours, we will return to our original meeting point.
