Willemstad Guided Tour
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the bus stop in front of Fuerte Rif to start our guided tour of Willemstad. We will explore the sights of Curaçao's capital.
We will begin by walking through the streets until we reach the Kura Botanica Hotel, where we will make our first stop to admire its historic façade. Next, we will cross the Queen Emma Bridge for views of the coastline.
The tour will then take us to the historic downtown district, passing by Fort Amsterdam, which was built in 1635 and is now the Governor's Palace. A Protestant church is located at the back of its courtyard.
We will also visit the old floating market, where Venezuelan goods were once sold. Today, local farmers and fishermen offer fresh products and handicrafts. Additionally, we will see the oldest active synagogue in the western hemisphere.
After 2.5 hours of sightseeing, we will conclude our guided tour of Willemstad with farewells in its historic district.
