Would you like to get to know the winemaking tradition of the state of Paraná? On this tour, we'll leave Curitiba behind for the wine route of São José dos Pinhais, an unforgettable tour that will take us to visit a total of 4 wineries with wine tasting included.

São José dos Pinhais Wine Tour

At the appointed time, we'll meet at Rua Rockefeller in Curitiba and board a bus that will take us to the municipality of São José dos Pinhais. The drive will take about half an hour.

During the tour, we'll discuss Italian immigration to Brazil at the end of the 19th century, as they brought the wine culture with them. We will enjoy the scenic landscapes from the bus, passing crop fields and vineyards. There will be a stop at a cactus, succulent, and orchid plantation, as well as a strawberry plantation.

We will explore rural areas of São José dos Pinhais and the Mergulhão colony to visit a total of six wineries. We will learn about Brazilian wine in the barrel rooms and the production processes.

In each winery, we will taste wines and cheeses from São José dos Pinhais. Halfway through the tour, we'll stop at a restaurant for an hour for lunch. After lunch, we'll visit a local cheese and charcuterie factory specializing in smoked products and a craft brewery.

After six hours of sightseeing, we'll conclude the wine tour at the starting point.
