Would you like to get to know the winemaking tradition of the state of Paraná? On this tour, we'll leave Curitiba behind for the wine route of São José dos Pinhais, an unforgettable tour that will take us to visit a total of 4 wineries with wine tasting included.

São José dos Pinhais Wine Tour

At the appointed time, we'll meet at Rua Rockefeller in Curitiba and board a bus to São José dos Pinhais, a journey of about half an hour.

During the tour, we'll discuss Italian immigration to Brazil at the end of the 19th century, as Italians brought the wine culture with them. The bus ride will offer views of the region’s crop fields and vineyards. We will also stop at a cactus, succulent, and orchid plantation and a strawberry plantation.

We will explore rural areas of São José dos Pinhais and the Mergulhão colony, visiting a total of six wineries. We will enter barrel rooms to learn about the wine production processes.

At each winery, we will enjoy tastings of wines and cheeses from São José dos Pinhais. Midway through the tour, we will stop at a restaurant for an hour of free time for lunch. After lunch, we will visit a local cheese and charcuterie factory specializing in smoked products and a craft brewery.

After six hours of sightseeing, we will conclude the wine tour at the starting point.
