Tubing on the Negro River

At your chosen time, we will meet at Hotel Hacienda Guachipelin. From this location in Rincon de la Vieja National Park, we will go on horseback to the Negro River.

After a short ride through forests, we will reach the riverside, where we will don helmets and life jackets. An instructor will provide important safety guidelines before we begin tubing down the Negro River.

The tubes are individual inflatable rafts allowing us to float safely along the river. We will navigate a thrilling 3-mile (5 km) stretch of class II and III rapids.

Throughout the tour, we will appreciate the scenery of Rincon de la Vieja National Park, known for its rich vegetation and biodiversity.

Once we finish tubing, we will return on horseback to the meeting point, completing the activity in about an hour and a half.
