On this tubing activity down the Negro River, we'll have fun in one of the main rivers of Rincón de la Vieja National Park!

Tubing on the Negro River

At the time of your choice, we'll meet at Hotel Hacienda Guachipelin. From this lodging in Rincon de la Vieja National Park, we'll travel on horseback to the Negro River.

After a short route through forests, we'll arrive at the riverside area, where we will don helmets and life jackets. The instructor will explain safety rules, and then we'll begin tubing down the Negro River.

The tubes are individual inflatable rafts that allow us to float safely down the current. We'll navigate an exciting 3-mile (5 km) stretch of class II and III rapids.

During the tour, we'll also enjoy the scenery of Rincon de la Vieja National Park, known for its lush vegetation and biodiversity.

Finally, after tubing, we'll return on horseback to the meeting point, completing the activity approximately an hour and a half later.
