Join a cooking class in Cusco to discover traditional Peruvian recipes, where you'll prepare three typical dishes and the famous pisco sour cocktail.

We will meet at Plaza Regocijo at the designated time to commence this Peruvian food experience.

The first stop is a local market to taste a variety of fruits, breads, and cheeses typical of the region while selecting the best ingredients for our cooking workshop.

Next, we will head to the kitchen to prepare three Peruvian dishes and a pisco-based drink. Throughout the class, we will explore the ingredients and traditional techniques that contribute to Peru's renowned cuisine.

You can choose from the following dishes:

Quinoa with huancaína sauce: a quinoa salad with avocado and mango, served with yellow chili sauce, nuts, milk, and cheese.Stuffed Rocoto: chili filled with meat, onion, peas, carrots, peanuts, and raisins.Ceviche: a well-known dish made with fish, lemon juice, onion, celery, ginger, and sweet potato.Lomo saltado: a dish comprising meat, rice, onion, tomato, and soy sauce.Pisco sour: Peru's emblematic drink, available in traditional lemon or passion fruit variation.

After about 4 hours, you will have learned to make authentic Peruvian dishes to recreate at home for friends and family.
