Whale Watching in Hauganes
After meeting at Hauganes port, we'll board our whale watching boat and set sail in search of local wildlife. We’ll spend two and a half hours sailing in the bay of Eyjafjörður Fjord, observing whales in their natural habitat on the northern coast of Iceland. Our English-speaking guide will provide insights into the lives of these large marine mammals. If weather permits, you will have the chance to try and catch some small fish near the whales.
During our boat trip, we may also spot other animals like dolphins and porpoises, and learn how to identify them. While enjoying this experience, we will keep warm with a cup of coffee and Icelandic sweets. The boat offers free WiFi for sharing whale photos with friends and family.
At the end of our trip, we will return to our original departure point.
How many animals will we see?
Please note that the whales, porpoises, dolphins, and other creatures we may encounter are wild animals and their presence is unpredictable. The number of species visible will depend on variables such as sea currents, wind, and weather conditions on the day of the activity.
