At 9 am, we will collect you from your hotel to begin the guided tour of Dakar's essential sights.

Our first stop is Independence Square, the central hub of the historic district, which features the Presidential Palace. Nearby, the Kermel and Sandaga markets offer a vibrant shopping experience with traditional local products, including regional food and handcrafted items.

Next, we visit the Our Lady of Victories Cathedral, the largest Catholic church in Dakar, followed by the Soumbédioune fishing market and the Museum of Black Civilizations. We will then head to the African Renaissance Monument, the tallest statue in Africa at nearly 100 feet.

Continuing to the Medina neighborhood, we will explore the Grand Mosque of Dakar, built in the 1960s during the revival of Islam in Senegal. The narrow streets lead to the Tilene market, known for its charms and amulets sold by shamans.

We will conclude the tour back at your hotel.
