We will collect you from your hotel at around 9 am and travel in an air-conditioned vehicle to the port of Dakar. Here, a ferry will be ready to take you to Goree Island.

After a journey of approximately 20 minutes, we will arrive at the small island off Senegal's Cape Verde Peninsula. Goree's prominent role in the African slave trade over three centuries led to its designation as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1978.

To delve deeper into this dark period of history, we will visit the House of Slaves, a museum dedicated to the millions of individuals who were held captive and sold here. This practice ended in 1848 when France abolished slavery.

Afterward, we will stroll through the picturesque, narrow streets, passing by elegant colonial houses adorned with vibrant Bougainvillea. You will also have the opportunity to see the charming beach and observe the daily life of the locals.

Upon completion of the trip, we will return to the ferry for the journey back to Dakar, where a bus will be ready to take you back to your hotel.
