Lompoul Desert Tour

On this excursion to the desert of Lompoul, we will combine a 4x4 tour with a camel ride at sunset to explore these arid lands. Optionally, you may stay overnight in a haima camp.

Lompoul Desert Tour

At the specified time, we will pick you up at your hotel in Dakar and drive in a 4x4 to the desert of Lompoul. The drive will take approximately 3 hours until we reach the arid landscapes of Senegal.

Although Lompoul is one of the smallest deserts, the excursion is worthwhile. The golden sand dunes extend towards the Atlantic Ocean, creating a captivating landscape.

During the off-road exploration, we will visit several notable spots, sharing interesting facts about the adaptation of fauna and flora to the arid conditions.

Afterwards, we will break for lunch at a local restaurant, which includes a starter, main course, and dessert.

Following lunch, we will embark on a camel ride through the desert of Lompoul at sunset. This experience is authentic and reflective of Bedouin culture.

Finally, after a total duration of 12-14 hours, we will return you to your hotel.
