On this excursion to the desert of Lompoul, we'll combine a 4x4 tour with a camel ride at sunset to explore these arid lands. Additionally, you have the option to sleep in a haima camp.

Lompoul Desert Tour

At the specified time, we will pick you up at your hotel in Dakar and drive in a 4x4 to the Lompoul desert. The drive will take approximately 3 hours until we reach the arid landscapes of Senegal.

The Lompoul desert, although one of the smallest in the world, offers a rewarding excursion. Golden sand dunes extend toward the Atlantic Ocean, creating a captivating landscape.

In the off-road vehicle, we will explore the baobab forest and visit significant locations in the desert, providing interesting facts about how the fauna and flora have adapted to this arid environment.

We will pause for lunch at a local restaurant, which includes a starter, a main course, and a dessert.

After lunch, we will embark on a camel ride through the desert of Lompoul at sunset. This experience reflects authentic Bedouin traditions.

Finally, after a 12-14 hour tour, we will return you to your hotel.
