On this excursion to the desert of Lompoul, a 4x4 tour will be combined with a camel ride at sunset to explore the area. Overnight stay in a haima camp is available.

At the scheduled time, pick-up will occur at your hotel in Dakar for a 3-hour drive in a 4x4 to the Lompoul desert. This journey leads to the arid landscapes of Senegal.

The Lompoul desert, though one of the smallest in the world, offers a rewarding experience. The golden sand dunes adjacent to the Atlantic Ocean create an impressive landscape.

During the ride, exploration will include the baobab forest and various noteworthy locations within the desert, coupled with insights on local fauna and flora and their adaptation to aridity.

A break for lunch in a local restaurant will follow, consisting of a starter, main course, and dessert.

Post-lunch, enjoy a camel ride through the desert of Lompoul at sunset, offering an authentic Bedouin experience.

After a tour lasting 12-14 hours, drop-off will occur back at your hotel.
