Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel in Dakar, followed by a southeast journey to the Saloum Delta. Upon arriving at the small fishing village of Ndangane, you'll find a motorized canoe awaiting you at the riverbank, a common mode of transport for locals in this picturesque area.

Once we board the canoe, we will embark on a scenic ride through the stunning Saloum Delta, where the Sine and Saloum rivers merge before flowing into the Atlantic Ocean. As we drift down the river, savor the enchanting views filled with mangrove swamps and palm trees, along with a chance to observe various species of exotic birds, including magnificent pelicans.

Following the boat ride, we'll make a stop for you to enjoy a meal at one of the park's local restaurants, where you can sample the delights of traditional Senegalese cuisine. Refreshed and energized, we’ll then head towards a Niominkas village. This community is linked to the Serer ethnic group and their lives are centered around fishing on the islands scattered along the river.

The day will conclude with a return to Dakar, where you'll be dropped off at your hotel approximately 11 to 12 hours after our departure.
