On this 9-day trip across Syria and Lebanon, we will visit the best spots in these Middle Eastern countries, starting in Damascus and ending in Beirut.

Trip Details

Day 1: Damascus

Upon arrival at Damascus Airport, assistance will be provided for entry procedures. You will then be transferred to the hotel in the city for your stay.

Day 2: Damascus

Exploration of Damascus begins with visits to the National Archaeological Museum and the Al-Azm Palace. Other sites include the Mausoleum of Saladin, the Umayyad Mosque, Straight Street, Saint Ananias House, and the Chapel of Saint Paul, followed by a walk through Damascus' souqs.

Day 3: Damascus - Maaloula - Krak des Chevaliers - Homs

Breakfast is followed by a visit to Maaloula, with its rock-carved houses, and then to Krak des Chevaliers. The day concludes in Homs.

Day 4: Homs - Palmyra - Hama

Breakfast leads to Palmyra for exploration of its UNESCO World Heritage Site, including the Temple of Bel's ruins and necropolis. Overnight in Hama.

Day 5: Hama - Aleppo

After breakfast, view Hama's wooden waterwheels before traveling to Aleppo. Overnight at a hotel in Aleppo.

Day 6: Aleppo - Damascus

Following breakfast, visit the Citadel and the Great Mosque of Aleppo. Afternoon return to Damascus for the night.

Day 7: Damascus - Anjar - Baalbek

Depart for Lebanon after breakfast, visiting Anjar's Umayyad ruins and Baalbek's Roman remains. Sample wines at a vineyard in Ksara before arriving in Beirut for dinner and rest.

Day 8: Byblos - Tripoli

Breakfast precedes visits to Byblos and Tripoli, seeing key historical sites including Phoenician walls and the citadel. Return to Beirut for the night.

Day 9: Beirut

After breakfast, transfer to the airport in Beirut for your return flight.
