Kaudulla National Park Safari
We will pick you up from your hotel in Dambulla and drive into the interior of Sri Lanka to Kaudulla National Park, a principal ecosystem. At the park entrance, we will board an all-terrain jeep and start our safari in Kaudulla. This area is recognized for its biodiversity and special protection for birds, hosting hundreds of species.
Next, we will take a break for lunch—please bring your own picnic. Afterward, we will continue our safari by observing the Asian elephants of Kaudulla, which are found in herds throughout the park. You will learn interesting facts about these endangered mammals.
Besides elephants, the safari will include sightings of Sri Lankan buffalo and deer. The park is also home to a significant number of Asian reptiles that you may encounter during the trip.
The safari concludes at the national park entrance, where a minibus will return us to Dambulla. We will arrive at your hotel 5 hours later.
