Kaudulla National Park Safari
We will pick you up from your hotel in Dambulla and drive to the Kaudulla National Park. At the park entrance, we will board an all-terrain jeep for a kaudulla safari. You will learn about the biodiversity of the area and the special protection for birds. Many species coexist in this region.
A lunch break is included, so please bring your own picnic. Afterward, we will continue the safari, observing the Asian elephants which are grouped in herds throughout the park. You will learn about these magnificent creatures, which are endangered.
In addition to elephants, we will also see Sri Lankan buffalo and deer, along with various species of Asian reptiles present in the park.
The safari concludes at the park entrance, where a minibus will be ready to return you to Dambulla. The total duration of the trip is approximately 5 hours.
