Kaudulla National Park Safari
Pickup will be from your hotel in Dambulla, followed by a drive into central Sri Lanka towards Kaudulla National Park.
At the park's entrance, you will board an all-terrain jeep to start the Kaudulla safari. Throughout the journey, you will learn about the biodiversity and bird protection efforts in this area, home to numerous species.
A break will be taken for lunch; please bring your own picnic. Afterward, the safari continues with observations of the Asian elephants in their herds across the park. You will also learn about the conservation status of these mammals.
Besides elephants, wildlife such as Sri Lankan buffalo and deer may be spotted, along with a variety of Asian reptiles.
The safari concludes at the park entrance, where a minibus will return you to Dambulla, arriving back at your hotel approximately 5 hours later.
