Pidurangala & Hiriwadunna Private Day Trip

At 7 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Dambulla and head to Pidurangala, our first stop of the day. Our journey should only take 30 minutes.

Upon arrival in Pidurangala, we’ll explore the monastery with a statue of a reclining Buddha at the foot of the mountain. Afterwards, we’ll walk towards Pidurangala Rock for views of Sigiriya and the Lion Rock.

After enjoying the views, we’ll visit an area with restaurants where you’ll have some free time for lunch.

With replenished energy, we’ll head to the village of Hiriwadunna, where we’ll experience the local culture. We’ll travel through rice paddies in an ox-drawn cart and take a boat ride on the lake.

We’ll then return to your hotel in Dambulla, arriving by 5 pm.
