Wilpattu National Park Private Safari

Leopards, bears, and many other exotic species native to Sri Lanka are waiting for you in Wilpattu National Park. Prepare for a safari trip from Dambulla.

Pickup will be at your hotel in Dambulla before heading to Wilpattu National Park, a vast nature reserve in the northwest of Sri Lanka. You will be on an off-road jeep for your safari in Wilpattu.

During the safari, you will encounter the Sri Lankan leopard, recognized by its gold fur and black spots. The safari will also feature the Sri Lankan sloth bear, where you will learn about its biology. Other species in the Wilpattu ecosystem include deer, buffalo, and Asian elephants, which you will see in their natural environment.

After a break for lunch (bring your own picnic), the safari concludes at the entrance to the national park at 2 pm. You will then return to your hotel in Dambulla, with the total duration of the trip being 11 hours.
