Gdansk Vodka Tasting

At the time of your choice, we'll meet at a bar-restaurant located in the heart of Gdansk's historic centre. From here we'll start our vodka tour.

For 1 hour 30 minutes, we'll enjoy 6 shots of traditional vodka. We'll get to know the Polish national drink up close, the most popular brands, and its citrus, nut, and molasses varieties, among others. Did you know that vodka originated as a remedy for digestive diseases? It began to be used in the Middle Ages as medicine for gastric problems and could be bought in pharmacies at that time.

During the tour, we'll also be treated to different aperitifs to pair with this drink. We'll hear interesting stories such as the prohibition of vodka by Tsar Nicholas II in 1914 or the relationship of this liquor with gunpowder.

Finally, we'll end the tour in the streets of the centre of Gdansk.
