We'll meet at Cullen Bay Terminal at 7:30 am and board a ferry to Bathurst Island. The journey lasts two hours and thirty minutes, allowing you to enjoy views from the Timor Sea.
Upon arrival, we will visit the Mission Heritage Gallery to learn about local aboriginal villages and the Tiwi style Catholic church, along with wooden sculptures representing Tiwi mythology.
We will then visit a local village to meet members of the Tiwi Islands' aboriginal community, exploring their rituals, dances, and the significance of their body art.
Next, we'll enjoy a traditional tea with a small lunch. The tour will continue with visits to various craft shops to observe the creation of traditional sculptures.
