Day Trip to Kakadu National Park
The adventure begins promptly at 6:30 am at The Esplanade, where a coach awaits to transport us away from Darwin, journeying east towards Kakadu National Park, a drive lasting approximately three hours.
Upon arrival, we will dive into the captivating features of this stunning natural sanctuary. Throughout our day, we will have the chance to visit the Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Center, gaining insights into the Bininj tribes, the original custodians of these sacred lands.
Having absorbed the park's rich history, we will then embark on a boat for a cruise along Yellow Water Billabong, where we might encounter the formidable saltwater crocodiles, the apex predators of this habitat!
Feeling hungry after our wildlife encounters? We'll savor a tempting lunch at Cooinda Lodge Kakadu after our close encounters with the planet’s largest reptiles!
As the tour concludes, we will head to Nourlangie Rock to admire some stunning Aboriginal art in the region. Subsequently, we will make our way back to Darwin, arriving around 7:30 pm.
