Your Indian host family will be waiting for you at the arranged meeting point in Delhi. They will welcome you into their home to begin the traditional Indian cooking class. If you wish, they can also pick you up at the nearest metro stop.

Before you begin to prepare the food, there will be an introduction to traditional Indian cooking - what ingredients are usually used, the way to cook them, and what are the most typical recipes.

Then we'll get the ball rolling and start to cook some of the dishes that you'll be tasting later, such as bhelpuri, samosas, and pakora, accompanied by masala Chai and shikanjvi, two typical drinks. All the recipes are vegetarian. If you have any dietary requirements (gluten-free, lactose-free, vegan, etc.) you can indicate it during the booking process.

The family will teach you how to achieve those unmistakable flavors of India. You can also learn some Hindi words and phrases and gain a deeper insight into Hindi culture.

Afterward, we'll all sit down at the table together to serve up the food, learn about Indian meal etiquette and, of course, enjoy an authentic feast and an explosion of flavors.
