Delhi Museums Guided Tour

At the appointed time, we will pick you up from your hotel in Delhi to start this guided tour of the four most important museums in the capital of India. Art lovers are welcome.

First, we will head to the Crafts Museum, one of the largest craft museums in India. We will explore different areas, such as the Tribal and Rural Crafts Gallery, the Courtesan Crafts Gallery, and the Folk Culture Gallery, which houses objects that are over 300 years old. Notable is the collection of terracotta sculptures from Karnataka.

Next, we will visit the National Museum of India, home to more than 200,000 exhibits ranging from prehistoric times to the present. Key attractions include relics from the Indus Valley, treasures from the Silk Route, and sacred relics of Buddha.

We will continue our tour at the Mahatma Gandhi Museum, also known as Gandhi Smriti, where we will see the site where Gandhi spent his last days before his assassination on 30 January 1948.
