Day Trip Overview
Your adventure begins early with a pickup from your hotel around 5 am, as we set off towards Jaipur, the vibrant 'Pink City'. During our journey, we will share the fascinating story behind this distinctive name. Our first destination is Amer Fort, the city’s iconic landmark.
To navigate to this 16th-century fortress, we'll ascend the hills surrounding Jaipur in a vehicle typical for the region. Upon arrival, you will be struck by the grandeur of this fort, showcasing a splendid blend of Hindu and Muslim architectural styles. It stands out as one of India’s most impressive fortresses.
Post our exploration of Amer Fort, we will stop at a local dining spot to savor traditional dishes from Jaipur. Following our meal, we’ll visit the stunning Lake Palace (Jal Mahal), a remarkable site known for its picturesque positioning on the water and accessible only by boat—truly an architectural marvel!
The tour then leads us to the Hawa Mahal Palace. Curious about the origin of its name? We will unravel its history while you take in the breathtaking façade of this magnificent structure located in Jaipur’s bustling center. Next, we will proceed to the Palace of Jaipur, a complex that incorporates two additional buildings within its grounds.
Before concluding our day, we’ll take you to the Jantar Mantar astronomical observatory. After an enriching 5-hour journey, we will return you to your hotel in Delhi by approximately 8 pm.
