Discover the spectacular Taj Mahal and its romantic history on this private excursion to Agra by high-speed train. You'll have an English-speaking guide exclusively for you - an unmissable experience!

Itinerary

Your private tour guide will collect you from your hotel in Delhi early in the morning to head to Hazrat Nizamuddin station by bus. You will take the Gatiman Express, a high-speed train that reaches Agra in just 80 minutes. Enjoy breakfast on board.

Arriving in Agra around 9:30 am, you will join your tour bus for the rest of the day. The first stop is the Taj Mahal, a UNESCO Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Commissioned by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal, the Taj Mahal features intricately engraved marble and a mix of architectural styles.

After the Taj Mahal, the tour proceeds to Agra Fort, a significant red stone fortress from the Mughal empire. Explore its chambers and mosques, then enjoy free time to take in views of the Taj Mahal and have lunch (not included). You will then return to the Agra train station to board the Gatiman Express again, with dinner on board. Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be dropped off at your hotel.
