We'll pick you up at your hotel in Delhi to explore the life of Mahatma Gandhi, regarded as the Father of the Nation of India. We will visit key locations related to the life of this influential leader who championed Indian independence from British rule.
Our first stop will be Gandhi Smriti, the residence where Gandhi spent his final years before his assassination in January 1948. A guided tour will highlight significant facts about his life. You will also visit the small museum, which features a collection of items related to Gandhi.
The tour will continue to Raj Ghat, located on the banks of the sacred Yamuna River. Here, we will observe the memorial with the black platform that signifies the spot where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated.
After this enlightening experience, we will return to the hotels.
